If you have searched for live-streaming prices in Thailand, you have probably noticed that almost nobody publishes one. That is not evasiveness. A live-streaming service is production work, priced on scope the way an ad agency, a video house or an events company prices its work — and this guide explains how that scope is built so you can read any quote you receive, including ours.
One thing up front: this article contains no numbers. We do not publish prices on this site, because a figure that fits one brand's scope misleads the next brand that reads it. What we can do is show you the seven factors every live-streaming company weighs, how a freelance host and an agency price differently, how to compare quotes like for like, and what to prepare so the first quote you receive is the right one. Written by a Bangkok live commerce agency certified by TikTok, Shopee and Lazada, with 10,000+ hours streamed since 2020.
01. Why no two live-streaming quotes are the same
A live is not a product with a shelf price. It is a block of production that includes some combination of a room, a broadcast system, a host, a room operator, graphics, product preparation and a report. Change any one of those and the cost of delivering the hour changes with it. Two brands can both say "we want a two-hour live on TikTok Shop" and need very different things: one has a host, a shop and a rundown ready and wants a room with a crew; the other needs a trained MC, a live frame, product set-up and someone to read the numbers afterwards.
That is why the honest answer to "how much does it cost?" is a short conversation, not a table. The companies worth hiring will explain the structure openly, then quote in writing against your scope. If a company quotes before asking what you sell, where and how often, it is quoting a guess.
02. The seven factors that set the price
1. Hours and frequency
The first question any company asks is how many hours and how often. Our own packages run from a single test hour to long-term plans of up to 200 hours, and the structure changes along that line. A one-hour booking carries the whole set-up on its own: briefing, product prep, MC matching, room and stream set-up, the report. A monthly or long-term plan does that set-up once and spreads it across many sessions, while the team learns the products, the audience and the objections that come up in chat. Longer commitments are therefore structured on a different basis from a single hour, which is also why most companies will suggest a short trial block before you commit.
2. How many platforms, and whether they run at the same time
Streaming to one platform is one live. Streaming to TikTok Shop and Shopee Live at the same time is one host and two shops: two baskets to run, two sets of vouchers and pins, two chats to answer, and two reports. Simultaneous multi-platform lives need a second operator and a broadcast system that can feed both, so they are scoped differently from a single-platform session. Running platforms on different days is closer to adding hours than adding complexity.
3. MC level: the company's host or your own
This is the factor buyers most often miss. There are two different services behind the word "live":
- Full live production includes a trained MC matched to your product category, with a backup host for the schedule, plus the room, the crew and the report.
- Room operation means you bring your own host — a founder, a staff member, a creator you already work with — and the company supplies the studio, the broadcast system, the room operator and the reporting.
Room operation prices the room and the crew. Full production adds the host's preparation and time, and the level of host matters: a generalist who can present is one thing, a host who has sold your category for hundreds of hours and knows how to close is another. Swapping hosts mid-plan, or asking for a specific named host, is scoped as its own line.
4. Product category
Some categories are simply more work to sell live. Cosmetics, supplements, food and medical devices fall under Thai FDA rules, which means the host has to be briefed on what may and may not be said on air, the rundown has to be checked for claims, and the live frame cannot carry wording the product's registration does not support. Fashion and lifestyle categories move faster on camera and need less compliance preparation. The category also determines which hosts can be matched to you, which feeds back into factor three.
5. Campaign scope
A standing weekly live and a campaign are different purchases. A campaign such as our All-in-One or Business Starter formats bundles strategy, a live frame and promo graphics designed for the campaign, promotion days such as Payday, 10.10 or 11.11, the ad set-up around the live, and a campaign-level report. The live hours are only one line inside it. If you are asked to compare an hourly quote with a campaign quote, you are not comparing like with like.
6. Studio or room operation at your location
Most lives are produced in the company's own studio, where the lighting, cameras, broadcast desk and backup connection are already in place and the room is booked by the hour. Producing at the brand's own site — a shop, a warehouse, a showroom, an event — means moving a crew and a kit, setting up and testing on location, and carrying a backup for the connection. It can be the right choice for a product that has to be shown in place, and it is scoped separately from a studio session.
7. Add-ons
Finally, what sits around the live: ads to bring viewers into the room, highlight clips cut from the recording for the shop page and social channels, a more detailed report with recommendations rather than a summary, and MC training for your own team. Each is a separate service with its own scope. A good quote lists them as options, so you can see what the live itself costs and decide what to add.
| Factor | Moves the quote up | Keeps it lean |
|---|---|---|
| Hours & frequency | One-off sessions; irregular schedule | A regular slot inside a monthly or long-term plan |
| Platforms | Two platforms streamed at the same time | One platform, or platforms on different days |
| MC level | Trained category MC with backup; named host | Room operation with your own host |
| Product category | Regulated categories needing claims checks | Fashion and lifestyle categories |
| Campaign scope | Strategy, frame, promo days, ads, campaign report | Standing live with a standard report |
| Location | Crew and kit on site at the brand's location | The company's studio |
| Add-ons | Ads, clips, deep reporting, MC training | The live and its standard report only |
03. Freelance host or agency: why the quotes look different
A freelance MC quotes for one thing: their time on camera. Everything else — the room, the lights, the stream, the basket, the chat, the vouchers, the report, the backup if they fall ill — is yours to arrange or goes missing. An agency quotes for the whole hour of production, so the number on the page is larger and includes more. Neither is wrong. A freelance host suits a brand that already has a room, an operator and a schedule it controls; an agency suits a brand that wants the live to happen on time, every time, with one point of accountability. When you compare the two, add the cost of what the freelance quote leaves out before you decide. We go deeper on the trade-offs in our Thai guide to where to hire a live-streaming company.
04. How to compare quotes from several companies
The common mistake is to line the totals up. Instead, line the scope up. Ask every company to quote the same brief — same hours, same platforms, same MC arrangement, same deliverables — and then check what each quote actually includes:
- The room and the crew. Is a room operator separate from the host included, or is the host expected to run the basket too?
- The host. Trained for your category? Is a backup named for the schedule?
- Graphics. Is a live frame with your promo badges included, or billed separately?
- Reporting. After every live, or at the end of the month? With numbers you can act on?
- Ownership. Does the shop account, the ad account and the data stay in your name? This should never be a paid extra.
- Trial. Can you buy a short test block before a monthly commitment?
Our Thai service page lists five questions to ask a live-streaming company before you hire; they apply to every quote, including ours.
A transparent company explains the structure, then quotes in writing
Be wary of two things. A total with no breakdown, because you cannot tell what is missing until the live goes wrong. And a quote produced before anyone asked what you sell, where, and how often — because that is a price for a live in general, not for yours.
05. How to get a quote from Limitless Studio
- Tell us the brief. Message LINE @lestudio or use the contact form with your product category, the platform or platforms, how often you want to stream or the campaign dates, and whether you need our MC or have your own host.
- We recommend a format. You receive a package recommendation — from a single test hour to a long-term plan, or a campaign format — with the MC we would match to your category.
- You receive a written quote. Line by line, with the add-ons shown as options, so you can compare it against anyone else's.
- Start with a test block if you prefer. Most brands run a short block first, then move to a monthly plan once the format is proven.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to hire a live-streaming service in Thailand?
There is no single figure, because a live-streaming service is quoted on scope rather than sold from a price list. The quote depends on how many hours you book and how often, how many platforms you stream to, whether the company supplies the MC or you bring your own, the product category, what else the campaign includes, and where the live is produced. The quickest way to a real number is to message a company with your product category, platform and goals, and ask for a written quote.
Why don't live-streaming companies list prices on their websites?
Because a published price would describe one scope and be wrong for most buyers. A fashion brand testing a single platform for an hour and a skincare brand streaming to TikTok Shop and Shopee several nights a week with a trained MC are buying different things, even if both are called a live. Production services such as ad agencies and video houses work the same way: the structure is public, the figure is scoped. A company that explains its pricing structure clearly and then quotes in writing is being transparent; a rate card that leaves out half the scope is not.
Why is a one-hour live priced differently from a monthly plan?
A one-hour booking carries the full set-up on its own: briefing, product prep, MC matching, room and broadcast set-up, and the report. In a monthly or long-term plan, that set-up is done once and spread across many sessions, the team learns the products and the audience, and the studio can plan its rooms and hosts in advance. That is why longer commitments are structured on a different basis from a single test hour, and why most companies suggest a short trial before the commitment.
Is there a price difference between the company's MC and the brand's own MC?
Yes, because they are different services. Full live production includes a trained MC matched to your product category, with a backup host. Room operation means you bring your own host and the company provides the studio, broadcast system, room operator and reporting. Room operation prices the room and the crew; full production adds the host's time and preparation. Which one is right depends on whether you already have someone who sells well on camera and can keep the schedule.
What information should I prepare before asking a live-streaming company for a quote?
Six things: your product category and whether it is regulated, such as cosmetics, supplements or medical devices under Thai FDA rules; the platform or platforms you sell on and whether the shop is already set up; how many hours and how often you want to stream, or the campaign dates; whether you need the company's MC or have your own host; what you want the live to achieve, such as sales, a product launch or a campaign day; and any extras such as ads, content clips or a detailed report. With those, a company can quote the right package the first time.
